You'll marry a Music Man.

What music or songs reminds you of your childhood?
  • Bon Jovi, Def Leoppard, Van Halen, Cher, Britney Spears, Faith Hill, and NSYNC.

Who is your favorite singer or group or song and why?
  • I wouldn't say I have a favorite, my music tastes kind of differ depending on my mood. But my good ole' go to's would be Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Blink 182, Cher, and maybe My Chemical Romance. These are my favorite because i have been listening to the same songs since middle school, and every song usually makes me think about my own life and I find it very easily relatable. That and they are all pretty fin to jam out to!

What Radio stations do you normally listen to in the car? Do you normally sing along?
  • I normally listen to power 96.5, 92.9, or 95.5 because they have current day songs, and here in missouri, we have really awful radio stations so those are pretty much one of the few ones that aren't just country or religious. I usually do sing along, so yes!
Which Music or Artist do you really dislike or refuse to listen to?
  • I really hate the way John Mayer sounds, I think he's whiney and his songs are annoying so I really try to avoid his music. Also pure 100% rap bothers me unless it's catchy, and country gets really annoying really fast.
Do you go to concerts? Which concerts are memorable to you and why?
  • I wish I could say I went to Concerts, but i dont. Mostly, I blame that fact that i live in Missouri, 4 hours away from any big city. Besides, if you were in a band, would you say, "Hey, let's go to Missouri!" because I would not. But i have been to a Trace Adkins concert with my mom at the fair, and I suppose that's kinda memorable.
What music reminds you of someone you love?
  • The music that reminds me of someone I love is probably "I miss you" by Blink 182, because when my ex-boyfriend of three years and I were together, that was kind of our song. That and "Yellow" by Coldplay and actually alot of other songs. I try not to listen to those, and avoid them if i can. Otherwise, my current boyfriend and I have a song, "I am a pirate, you are a princess", and its really silly and I love it. (Even courtney loves it!) (you'd have to hear the song to get that joke, sorry)
Which music or artists do you consider controversial or offensive?
  • I think really the only offensive music nowadays is some rap that curses alot. A lot of religious people shelter their kids hardcore from rap, which i can uncerstand why, it' just that it is everywhere nowadays and kind of hard to avoid.

  1. Blink-182 always reminds me of my first teaching job--I was a long-term sub at Cherokee and had no idea what I was doing--and some kids in my class did one of their songs at the talent show. I was also 23 and the song that says "Nobody likes you when you're 23..." was popular.
