 Hallows Eve

Sitting upon the gargoyle

In the dead of night

Perched was a bat,

Ready to take flight

It was the darkest black I’d ever seen

Spooky for sure,

And carried off into the wind

Scary and hairy, the bat darted away

Spotlighted by the moon

Under display,

Until he blended in

To the darkness of the night

And set the tone for this holiday

With a grim, grim fright.

With the witches and werewolves running free

With the eyes of youth, there’s nothing you can’t see

The streets are filled with orange and black

As little children run around to grab candy and snacks

The pumpkins are so large

Even the least spirited will say,

“Happy Halloween, now have a great day!”

I WANT CANDY

 

 

The best candy from trick or treating are the big ones. Even if I’m not a big fan of the candy itself. If it is normal size, and really big, you are currently possessing gold. My favorites being twizzlers, Milky Way’s, 3 musketeers, and Reeses . Kit Kats are okay, and I’m not a big snickers person really. I like getting snack type things too. Such as the people who hand out entire cans of soda, or bags of pretzels, or cookies, or those popcorn balls. All of the snacks are always pretty good!
